General Info:

Heavy preference will be given to candidates who already have their badge to work in the cannabis industry in Colorado. If you don't already have that, you can apply with the State of Colorado.

This is a full time position, scheduled 40 hours a week.

Pay - $20.00 - $22.00/hour.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Kitchen Manager to lead the production of cannabis-infused edibles including chocolates, gummies, caramels and tinctures. You'll oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with industry regulations, maintain production quality, and manage a growing multi-store supply network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production & Scheduling:
    • Plan and execute daily edible production; maintain inventory par levels and keep a 1+ week rolling production schedule
    • Edible packaging, labeling, and order fulfillment
  • Team Management:
    • Lead, train and motivate kitchen staff; enforce SOP's, cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
    • Staff training
  • Quality & Compliance:
    • Ensure consistency, accurate dosing and adherence to all MED, MIP, and food safety laws. Oversee packaging, labeling, and METRC tracking
    • Compliance audits, CAPA & recall plan maintenance
  • Inventory & Reporting:
    • Maintain PAR levels for ingredients and packaging; track kitchen output, costs, and monthly revenue. Conduct weekly backstock inventory and QC checks
    • Sales reporting
    • Internal label production and quarterly product evaluations
  • Collaboration:
    • Work with retail stores, product development, marketing, and stocking teams to support product launches, storage needs and sales strategies
    • Marketing support
  • Innovation & Scaling:
    • Protoype and scale new recipes, streamline operations, and reduce waste while maintaining product quality and shelf stability

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid MED badge from the State of Colorado to work in the cannabis industry. This badge is obtained at the cost of the candidate/employee, and the company does not reimburse for this
  • 3-5 years experience in a bakery or food production oriented role highly preferred (cannabis experience preferred)
  • METRC and marijuana tracking knowledge
  • ServeSafe Certification
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
