This is a full time position, regularly scheduled 30-35 hours per week, with overtime when needed. Typically schedule for 5 shifts per week. This position requires open availability, since the store will be open from 8:00am - 9:00pm daily, including holidays and weekends. The only day the store is closed is Christmas Day.

The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set, including customer service and cash handling experience. Previous retail management experience is a significant plus, as is experience in the cannabis industry. We are seeking someone with a positive attitude who enjoys interacting with both customers and team members. Strong organizational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to an evolving industry are essential. Given the highly regulated nature of our industry, adherence to rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) is crucial. High ethical standards are required, as you will be handling both products and cash regularly.

Pay - this position starts at $17/hour plus tips that are recorded and taxed.

Basic Functions of the Job:

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide professional assistance
• Supervises daily operations during shifts, ensuring all team members take their breaks and lunches.
• Manages discounts and pricing issues in the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Maintains a clean and organized store environment, preparing it for customers at the start of your shift and ensuring it remains tidy throughout the shift.
• Opens the store as needed, ensuring cash drawers are prepared and balanced for the day.
• Closes the store when required, including reconciling cash in the drawer, safe, and ATM.
• Addresses escalated customer service issues as they arise.
• Ensures compliance with all regulations set forth by the Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED).
• Tracks cash movement between drawers and the safe throughout the day, including cash payments for supplies.
• Counts and records all tips at the end of each shift, ensuring the Front Desk Receptionist receives their share.

Ideal Skills and Experience:

• Previous retail, and cash handling experience.
• Previous cannabis industry experience a huge plus!
• Ability to communicate professionally through effective verbal and written skills
• Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively
• Ability to multitask, problem solve and take ownership of work
• Assumes additional duties as requested or assigned
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a MED Badge
