We are expanding our Accounting team and are in need of a experienced quick learner to fill our Part-time Jr. Accountant role. The ideal candidate will be available to work in our office located in Fort Lupton. The schedule will be Monday, Tuesday and the 3rd day is negotiable, hours are 8:00 am -5:00 pm.

General Info:

The Jr. Accountant will be responsible for assisting the CPA in managing, processing and trouble shooting various accounts and transactions. They will also support day-to-day tasks that add up to accurate financial statements.

Pay - $24.00-$30.00 hour D.O.E.

We offer an IRA savings plan called Colorado SecureSavings administered thru the State of Colorado. You will accrue Paid Sick time on a bi-weekly basis. Accrual rate will be 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collecting, reviewing, and processing timesheet data and payroll information
  • Entering data into payroll and administrative databases and software systems
  • Calculating wages, benefits, tax deductions, garnishments, etc.
  • Preparing and processing paychecks via WURK
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws
  • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close process
  • Monitor all banking activities - reconciliation of tracking spreadsheets
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations

    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Google Sheets/Docs., and QuickBooks Accounting software)
